Finally. Fucking finally, after waiting for 218 days I can get closure. They said that I\'m academically eligible to get in, they\'ll send the official admit letter by July 15 when I demonstrate proof of ability to pay tuition and living expenses. The mail also says I gotta pay $500 as commitment deposit by July 31 if I choose the offer. I didn\'t visit the USC Graduate websites for info, but the mail I got says I got 2 options — Fall 2020 in-person, or Fall 2020 online followed by Spring in-person. On visiting their "Newly Admitted" website however, I see there are 4 options -- one can even defer to Fall \'21.\r\n\r\nI\'ll probably reject the offer, it\'s way too costly -- living expenses, and everything else included. I already have 2 just as good offers (with scholarship). \r\nTo those reading — if you\'re accepted, good for you, really. If you were rejected after all this wait, you have me on your side too. USC will always be \"Uni of Stupid Cunts\" or \"Uni of Spoilt Children\" for me.\r\nCheers.

Is there anyone waitlisted who experienced application status reset without any notification from USC? I just logged in usc.liaisoncas.com and it asked me for copying previous application data. After copying it, all my previous application information was gone and I could not see my application status anymore.

I applied to the Mechanical Engineering program. At least those who applied to either the data science or computer science program received a notification that they have been wait listed. In my case they haven't bothered to even let me know if i'm wait listed or what the actual status of my application is. You guys would not believe, I've sent them 10 mails asking my status and surprisingly no constructive reply. I am so not recommending this uni to my juniors.

Friends, I hate to say this but don't go to USC. My cousin went there for grad school and regretted it. You're basically paying for a 2 year vacation and free youtube tutorials for passing exams. I'll reject my offer too.

Finally heard something from USC. Already accepted offer from CMU.

Fuck this. Won't be paying close to $100K for presitge. I reject USC.

Will be asking for a refund and rejecting my offer. This is no way to treat applicants.
