Email from the Executive Officer (chair) of the program notifying of acceptance. One of my top choices so I'm ecstatic!!

Would you feel comfortable with sharing your subfield of interest or the initials of POI? Regardless, hope you'll go to a school that is a good fit!

To the post asking about UC Davis: No, I didn't have an interview. I think UC Davis usually does not do interviews.

Oh well, I guess then its safe to assume that its a rejection for anyone who hasnt heard back from the department! Good luck to everyone who had their interviews!!

To the post about UC Davis below, may I ask did you receive an interview before admission notification?

To the poster asking about Michigan: I've heard that the interview invites (for sociocultural) went out more than a week ago

To the Stanford poster below: congrats!! Are you a sociocultural anthro applicant?

Have all the interviews for UMich PhD in anthropology been conducted?

Email from POI for a virtual interview week!

I posted this result on the 22nd. To the poster below: I applied to the sociocultural track and received an email from the academic program coordinator with a letter. I didn't have an interview.

Very low GPA for undergrad but really great M.A. grades.

I posted the acceptance below. I received an email from the Executive Officer of the Department. My 1st interview was 1/15, and second 1/18.

Congrats to CUNY folks! :) No I didn't hear from them at all. I wonder if they have a second round of interviews! I hope. CUNY is my top choice.
