I contacted the admin person and was told it's unlikely any offers will go out anytime before the April 15th week. They received only very few responses (rejections or acceptances of offers), even fewer than in previous years. Given that most of the people are cross-admits, I imagine it is the same across the top 10.

Get shit movin' folks. It's a domino effect and as soon as you lucky few people at the top make a decision everyone else can get relief about what they are doing with their life for the next five years. Take your time to make a decision you feel comfortable with, but don't suckle at a teet power and forget about your fellows down below.

Out of the universities you mention I think the last visit day is MIT, ending on April 1st. So, there will be potentially more movement after that, which should trickle down to all top 20 universities (and maybe even beyond). Be patient and don't give up hope!

I think that movements in these universities' waiting list can trigger a lot of movement in top 20 universities. I guess that after the open houses, we should expect more movements in those universities. Anyone knows when these universities' open houses are (were)?

Hard pill to swallow, considering that it is the only program that offers full funding. Now wait for another 2 months. International applicant, already have a Master in Economics. Accepted at Harvard MPA/ID (no news about funding yet) and MSCAPP Harris ($).

To other applicants who are on Princeton Engineering's waitlist - did you receive a zoom invite to their discussion about first-year grad school experience? The email said "congratulations on your admission to grad school" which was super confusing. Is this just their courtesy move to invite the wl people as well? Really no idea why I got rejected. I got accepted to all top MPA programs and received full funding at Syracuse U, but got rejection here. Weird though. 2.5 years ago, I started my application preparation with a dream to study at Princeton. I know all there could be about the program, professors, etc., have great scores in everything, good GPA, research and nonprofit involvement, good rec. letters. My SOP was 4 pages long (with dense info), and maybe this could be the reason - that it was tiring to read. Still, it is a mystery for me and a deep disappointment ... To anyone applying, "Good luck, people!". I know this competition could be frightening, but applying is half the battle, so just do your part of the deal, and admissions will decide later. As for me, I will apply for a PhD to Princeton, I guess. See you!
