finally!!! not sure why they left me in limbo so long -- that leaves 1p and i simply cannot wait for it to be over

Received the acceptance e-mail and then a phone call from Dr. KS!

received an email to the portal. it feels good to have the closure though. good luck to everyone~

Received grad school email before the call, fully funded via fellowship.

Email then a phone call offering me a fellowship! I'm bouncing off the walls

I got a call from Dr. K.S. congratulating me on my admission with a full ride to SAM! Its LITERALLY a dream come true to be supported in writing my poetry! #GoBearkats!

Invited me to apply to their MS program and extended the deadline by a week to decide. Waived MS application's fees and said my PhD application materials will carried over to my MS application to save me time. Bummed about the rejection (but it's already April, so I knew it was coming anyways.) I'm thankful though they offered to consider me for their MS program instead.

Accepted off the waitlist 2a/1w/5r

Form letter dated March 5, 2021. Postmarked March 16, 2021.

Emailed to ask for results, they said early next week if not sooner! I didn't get a rejection--I just didnt know what to put for notification. Hope to find out next week!

this is just an update for my fellow fiction waitlisters (in case any of the rest of you are biting your fingernails off like i am): i heard from terri today that 3/6 initial offers have accepted. doesn't sound like there's been any waitlist movement. guess ill keep pacing my room in anguish!!

Received email from professor Tejada, then talked on Zoom for half an hour. Exhilarated as an international student who applies to poetry programs.
