no publication, 1 year of research experience

Canadian, BA in Criminology, Law and Society from UofT. I had a strong letter of intent and strong references, my CV was not too strong but I did have experience through an internship and research assistantship.

check the app portal after knowing others' situation on gradcafe, didn't receive an email. i guess i am slowly approaching to the end of this year

They didn't even bother sending a notification email. Checked the app portal after seeing other UCLA results on gradcafe. Already got great offers, so this wasn't a big deal. Congrats to folks who got in!

This is my top choice so I'm bummed to be waitlisted. Hopefully a lot of people don't accept lol

Didn't receive an email; checked portal and decision letter was there!

GPA is grad. There was no notification, I just checked the portal based on the comments from last admission season. 2a/1r/1w/4p

Anyone got offer letter from Syracuse?

No GRE, 3a/1w/1r, 5-yr funding pkg with $37k stipend in upcoming year.

check from the portal. Not a good fit anyway

So this might be the end of this round. Not even sad. An extremely hard year for most of us I guess, I thought I would land in one or two programs before this, but it seems I am going to be rejected by all. 5 rejections so far and no accecptance or waitlist, despite coming from a kinda prestigious university in my country and all the valuable help I got from my professors and friends. But failing to get into academia right after graduation is not necessarily bad, so good luck to all those who were also rejected bu all. We might meet each other sometime somewhere and hope we will live another good life. Thank you everyone for having been here with me, sharing your joys and sorrows. See you.

Congrats to the admitted! Plz let them know if you are going to turn down the offer. This is my top choice
