Has someone heard back from Duke? It seems they haven't moved their waitlist at all since first-wave decisions in February. Am I right? Tks!

Accepted off the waitlist. Barring me winning the NSF, I will probably take the offer. Also to a poster below, two spots are on offer this year.

I'm glad one of my professors encouraged me to apply here because I didn't have a "safety" PhD program (i.e a place I applied to for the sake of getting in somewhere) and have been rejected from almost all so far. So on the off chance you've been accepted and know you're going somewhere else, it'd be much appreciated if you could decline. Congrats to everyone who's gotten in somewhere this season has been brutal by the looks of it!

And that makes 3. I'm not exactly sure where I fall on the wait list, but I'm still holding out hope.
