Can people that got admitted but decide not to go (for example financials, better schools, etc) reject their offers? PLESAE... I am on waitlist and not being selfish or anything, I wanted to go to this since my sophomore of college, this is what you call a DREAM for me...

If considering my case for gauging chances of admission for a future application period, note that I am an unconventional candidate without a preexisting master's degree and an undergraduate degree completed in a total of two years.

Unconditional offer (I think, no academic conditions stated in offer). Email to check portal. Debating between this and Oxford's MPhil Economics

MA IDE (International and Development Economics). Received email from portal.

After the long wait, I finally received an email asking me to check the portal. Still waiting for two other universities but I am super excited for Yale!

Actual waitlist. Subfield Nucl-th. Anyone with the same interest admitted to Yale has better places to go, please decline Yale ASAP. It is my last hope this year and Millions of thanks if you could help!

Ignore waitlist. I still have not heard back from the program and my application status has not changed on the portal. Anyone else?

Has anyone heard back from Yale IDE? Are the acceptances sent out or have they still not sent out anything?

Got full tuition waiver.

Real waitlist. Subfield Nucl-th. If anyone with the same interest adimitted to Yale/Columbia has better places to go, please decline your offer ASAP. They are my last hopes to start my graduate study this year. Millions of thanks if you could decide promptly!

Got an email saying there was an update on the portal. Was expecting a flat out rejection since my audition was good but interview was not great, so I'm pretty happy with getting on the waitlist. Says in the letter that the waitlist is really short so hopefully will update this with good news in the near future!
