Got notification to check portal, standard reject message. No interview. Not a huge surprise given fit (I'm kind of in between psychological/medical and biological). Connected with several POIs early in the process who encouraged me to apply, one (initials AN) mentioned this year they would have to accept a smaller cohort so congrats to those who are still in the game! It's a tough year!

Told to check portal

I was really hoping to get in. But I guess not! I have Master's in Archaeology outside USA with 3.75 GPA equivalent grades

Hey! Anyone heard from UTAustin Anthro yet? Nothing seems posted

To the poster below re Princeton, to answer your question, it was sociocultural anthro that I was accepted for. Hope you get whichever one you want, sending you good vibes ;)

To the two posters below, congratulations!!! I'm still waiting to hear something back — Did you both apply as socio or archeology?

Has anyone heard anything from TC?

received a personal email from POI

Received an email from the Director of Graduate Studies. I'm very grateful and excited! Good luck to everyone!

I had two interviews on the 18th but haven't heard anything back yet. Both interviews went very well. Best of luck to anyone else who interviewed, I received an offer from elsewhere so won't be accepting if offered a place at Chicago.

Accepted via email without interview, second round of applications. Easily the best email I've ever received. Good luck to everyone who applied, hoping you all get your first choice.

not surprised for the reject. LSE has a high standard for the applicant's background (I do not have an anthropology degree although I attended some lessons) and the proposal (talked with potential supervisor for about one month, revised twice) I think.

Received unconditional acceptance less than two weeks after application submission
