Rejected by the PHD program and offered with a master's without funding. Sad.

top US master program with GPA 3.8. 1 super strong letter from the fellow. 2 publishable papers in field tops, 1 peer-reviewed publication. Do not know why they reject me?!!!!!!

Great school and program! I was invited to the recruitment weekend Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, received an email informing an incoming offer after one week.

Anyone got any news from PSU?? I didn't see a single result from them.

To the person below: I sent them an email inquiring about my status and they said I'll receive either by postal or by email. Not very helpful in this regard

Applied for Gravity and Cosmology theory. First Acceptance! Awarded a 31000$ stipend. Very relieved. Undergrad from a major uni in India followed by a Masters from the UK in theoretical physics. 2 summer projects in Particle Physics from renowned institutes at India and one at Princeton. (Hopefully) had good LORS from profs!

Has Penn State already offered all acceptions in Gravity/Cosmo theory this year? If some of you guys know, please tell me. Thanks in advance!
