I emailed the grad coordinator, who told me all initial offers had been made, but that I could check if I was waitlisted or rejected with a faculty member on the admissions committee. The faculty member responded letting me know I was on the waitlist. I already accepted another offer, but still nice to hear. If you're still waiting maybe send an email to their coordinator. Anyway, that's a wrap for me this year--2a, 4w, 6r.

Anybody heard back from Indiana uni bloomington for PHD computer science. I applied way back in 2016 Novemeber. Still have not heard back anything. the wait has been long and excruciating. if I contact the department they just give back a generic reply --> "just be patient". i just feel it is a stalling procedure with no clear intent. has any of you guys got any decision(admit/reject) for phd CS?

T/A, IU provides tuition remission, stipend, and health insurance.

To the person who posted below this (accepted to MS program with $1700/mo TA and moving onto PhD next year): Can you tell me some more about your situation? I applied for the PhD program and was deferred to the MS program with an offer for a TA position and tuition scholarship, but that's all I know so far.

Received notification via email. 3.36 Undergrad (3.84 Major... don't ask) in Business Administration. 10 years working experience with 4 publications (in a different field).

Did anyone hear from the university for HCI Masters? Does anyone know what they mean by profile being considered for second round? is the second round done?

Just NOW rejected from Indiana. Boy, took long enough.

In response to the question... I haven't heard anything and the application status doesn't give any information. It's making me nervous.

Will convert to PhD in Fall 2018 after core courses are finished. 1700/mo TA during Master's - will increase once admitted to PhD.
