People who got interview didn't get score evaluation for their application. Probably to reduce unnecessary stress.

Email to check portal. Generic rejection letter. Said that 205 applied, only 15 under consideration. Good luck everyone.

It was a long shot but still disappointing. International master's degree student with multiple research experiences (2 in accademia and 1 in industry), average GPA, good LORs and no pubs. Congratulations to those admitted and good luck to those, like me, not accepted.

Officially heard from grad school on Jan 26, from dept. on Feb 17th. Invited to dept. symposium on Jan 25 (not all those who were invited were accepted at that point)

Interviewed on Jan 22-23, rejected by new faculty member with whom I'd applied

Applied with really famous profs, was a reach. Officially heard only on Feb 20th

TTPB: According to the grad office, if you have not heard you were accepted, you are either waitlisted, or rejected. You're Bio, so contact Marco Mangone to ask. That's how I found out. I was not ranked high enough to even end up on the waitlist.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? I can't believe I got into my dream school
