Did anyone get an admission offer from UT Austin at all?

TPB: Also haven't heard anything and no status update. Given the wave of accepts/rejects, think I'm taking it as a waitlist for now.

Out of the five programs I applied to, 4 rejections and one waitlist. Very frustrating application season

[Not WL] Anyone else heard nothing from these guys? Is it an implicit waitlist?

Officially rejected by all the programs I've applied to!!!

This is my number one choice of program so I am praying to the grad school gods that I get in.

Ignore the interview result that I posted below. I meant to write that I got an email telling me I was on a "very active waitlist".

I got an email to check my status update.

Sad to get rejected from my dream school :( 3r/0a/4p

We regret that we are not able to offer you admission. Thank you for your interest in The University of Texas at Austin. After careful consideration of your application materials, we regret to inform you that the committee on Graduate Studies has not recommended you for admission. Every year, the committee on Graduate Studies faces the difficult task of selecting a limited number of students from a group of extremely qualified and talented applicants. The committee takes very seriously the interest of each student and the care with which they submit their applications. The review process ensures that time and attention is given to consider every application in its entirety, through an individualized, holistic review of each student's achievements, talents and personal circumstances. Please know that the decision is the reflection of a very competitive applicant pool, and we are confident you have the tools to succeed wherever you decide to enroll. We wish you all the best in your studies and beyond. This is your official notification. A letter will not be mailed to you.

Congratulations to those admitted! If you have received an admit and are not planning on attending, please reject the offer. Been stuck with only waitlists so far
