Sent an email to inquiry about status and got a rejection. Official rejections until the end of the month

International. No GRE.

With 10000 scholarship. I'm not accepting this one cause I have fully-funded PhD offers from other schools.

Not waitlisted. I'm waiting for the results and was wondering if anyone received an update from the program!

I was so surprised to hear back less than a week after the deadline on 2/15. I'm putting my stats here to show everyone that you can get in with a sub-3.0 gpa! First person in the family to go to college and grad school too!

international student 3a/1r/0p that's the end of my cycle good luck everyone!

Congratulations! It is a pleasure for me to inform you that you have been admitted to Columbia University's Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science as a candidate in the Data Science Master of Science program beginning Fall 2023. You have been admitted to the program as a full-time student, and will be expected to register in a minimum of 12-credits in the Fall 2023 semester. The faculty and staff would like to commend you on your past accomplishments which formed the basis of our admission decision in a highly competitive pool. Really grateful to have been given this opportunity to be a part of Columbia, and congratulations to everyone else who got in as well!

Zero research experience, non-CS major, state school (American), 3 relevant data analytics internships, decent LORs. Surprised to get the admit, and I am planning to accept!

Email to check portal - offer of admission. Related undergraduate major & research work, loosely related job & extracurricular experiences. Undergraduate grades characterized by strong upward trend (terrible first year grades). Fluency in one East Asian language, currently learning a second. No funding.

Emailed and was informed of waitlisted status. ETA of official results in 2 weeks.
