Has anybody heard anything from SDSU?

The waitlist status was only communicated to me after I contacted them asking for info. I received no updates about my application prior to this.

Safe bet.Non-CS background with 2 years of software development experience.Admitted with 2 prerequisites.

Anyone heard back from the business school, RADY?

What is going on in UCSD ?! among recent results only 1 over 25 is accepted! If the number of gradcaffe viewers is large enough the acceptance rate for electrical is less than 5% :D

Extended their notification date from April 1 to April 6. This suspense is murder although I don't have high hopes.

To the UT Austin reject asking what it takes to get a decent admit. Well going by this year it looks like professors want students with the coding skills of Linus Torvalds, research skills of Andrew Ng,internships at Microsoft Research, papers in Nature and Recommendations from Turing award winners or if you happen to be a girl or a minority then affirmative action FTW!! F*ckwit American CS professors.

Always knew that they are kind of biased against specific applicants even if the applicants had good profiles. Already into a TOP 5 school so doesn't matter to me at all.

Was a long shot anyway. Last hopes on UC-Irvine and UC-Davis. Anyone have any idea when Davis will start rolling out decisions? Otherwise, accepted at Univ.of Arizona.

9.0/10.0 cgpa, sometimes I think as an Indian applicant it's a sin not being from IIT or BITS when applying to a top-20 US university. USC , I have hopes on you, don't screw me, I absolutely don't look forward to attending RIT.

I'm still waiting for UCSD as well. From what I can tell from past year's data on this forum, Master's acceptances will come out in the next two weeks, but this is definitely the longest they've taken.
