Had an interview with a professor before I apply and the professor recommended me to the admission committee.

I got rejected by the program 2 months before. Got email last week asking whether I am still interested. Reapply and got accepted. lmao

To the Purdue poster below, did you get the interview before on the waitlist? Thanks a lot.

I saw the poster asking about Purdue--I am pretty certain that all offers went out shortly after interview weekend.

Undergraduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. 1 year research experience in condensed matter physics but no publications. 4 strong LORs from varsity professors. Got better offer from a top 20 US varsity. Declined immediately. Better luck for those waitlisted.

Received an email from a clinical professor. Portal hasn't updated yet. Said we will receive an official letter in a few weeks.

Got an email saying that the application decision is available. No information regarding funding or advisorship. Accepting Michigan instead anyway so probably won't pursue it much further. Experience: Masters degree from a top 30 worldwide AeroE school, 2 first author pubs (1 journal, 1 conference), 2 co-author conference pubs.
