A nice email! Full tuition waiver and funding, info about prospective student visit day in March

Four publications (2 as first author), ~3 years full time research experience in a micro lab, 3 stellar LORs, slightly below average GRE, 3.4 GPA. First interview invite!!

3 years of Physics research paid off and the letters of recomendation and my experiences got me in.

With funding.

PI emailed and called. I am the next in line if the first person declines.

One of 86 accepted by department, e-mail said graduate school needs to accept as well but did not indicate that this was unlikely. I know the program offers some fellowships, no word on that. I hope that funding information might come when the graduate program formally accepts me.

1 REU, 1 SULI, 1 3rd author publication & 2 others submitted, 3 conference poster publications

Tuition waiver and stipend! Very Excited!
