GPA from Master's. No GRE.

3.43 GPA, ~1.5 years research, no pubs. This was the last astro school I was waiting on, so looks like unless one of the physics schools accepts me I'll be trying again next year. I'll be back, GradCafe! :]

Reply to the person who is wait listed as well, did they tell you your position in the list or if you will get an offer if someone decline?

Reply to the person regarding PhD program at Arlington, I was also interviewed. Later, I sent them an email asking the admission decision. I got the same reply you got. Probably, they have only one slot.

PI emailed to set up a Zoom meeting in which I was informed of waitlist status.

Not actually waitlisted!! To the person below, I emailed them last week and they said, "The Admissions Committee is currently reviewing applications. You should expect to hear back around Spring Break (mid-March)." It seems like they try to get admissions decisions out before spring break so hopefully we will hear by this Friday since their spring break is next week.

Congrats to those that got in! Email to check portal, where I found a rude message saying that I didn't turn materials in on time (even though my submission dates are clearly visible in the drop-down and they were all in before the Dec 1 deadline).

NOT ACTUALLY WAITLISTED. I was wondering if anyone has heard from UTA? It looks like many of their other grad and Phd programs sent admission results last week. It looks like they usually notify by now based on previous years.

to the person who asked me about interview: I emailed them after a week and they told me due to the limited funding they made an offer to someone, but if that applicant declines, They hope to offer the admission to me. At the end, they told that they are still hopeful to extend an offer. I guess there might be chance for making another offer.

Not about the interview: To the person who got interviewed in Arlington, do you hear back from school after the interview?
