Any idea when waitlisted candidates can expect final decisions? I wish they got this over with. Ironically, I saw there was a post for rejection->acceptance last year in April, lol.

My application status has not been updated to Admitted/Rejected. But I received this message in the MS ECE Application: IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PROVISIONALLY ADMITTED STUDENTS: As this is the busiest time of year for reviewing applications, we will not be reviewing official documents until June 2021 for incoming Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 students. You may check this portal in the month of June for updates regarding the reception and processing of your pending admission documents. Please note your provisional admission status will not affect your ability to register for your first quarter of classes. Provisional admission status is also acceptable for visa application purposes. What should I assume? Admit or Reject?

AIS shows this, "We have received your application data and documents and we are populating your information in our databases. Please allow a few days for the Office of Admissions to complete local processing on your application and then return to this page to view any updates to your admission status." Still waiting...!

TTPB: I also received the GTAccount ID and so did many others - I don't think it means anything. Since you didn't receive a reject you are probably on an internal wait list. If enough people reject their offers, you could expect to hear something around April 15. Hope for the best. Peace.

Ignore Waitlist. I received the GTAccount (alphanumeric string) a couple of weeks back (Not sure if that means anything), but have not heard back from them yet. They sent out a few rejects (Lorraine/Shenzen admits on April 3), but I did not receive anything. Is anyone in a similar situation?

I had mailed the grad coordinator a couple of days ago only to receive a highly ambiguous response - "should be out at any point in the next few days". Has anyone here received admission to Austin?

CMU rejects out?

TTPB: I am the accepted person on April 1. I didn't have an interview. I contacted with grad coordinator and the coordinator told me that "Admissions is separate from funding.". Therefore, I need to find an advisor. It's quite late to find an advisor I think. Going to decline it possibly. For the post which is asking about my profile, 4 publications, and strong lors. 2+ years of work experience.
