Scientists and Engineers option Got notification to check portal at 3:30am CST I applied by the scholarship deadline but didn't see any information about funding in the decision letter

First admit of the season :-). Recieved an unofficial email from the Phd student at one of the labs POI is working on that they are interested in working with me. Later today, recieved the official admit via email. 3 patents/ 4 papers. 3.5 years work-ex in computer vision research. I say to all, Hang on. All the best!!

Don't think decisions are out (yet). Portal's back to normal and I see the same message as before.

Are the admits out ?

TTPB taking about the portal blanking out: Yes, all my friends and I (MS CS F21 applicants) are facing the same issue. Possibly uploading results now.

I cant open the Decision status on USC. Maybe they are uploading or stuff?

Why do I see NO MS in CS from USC yet. Last year they had begun long back!

I emailed them today and got a reply saying no offers have been made yet and they won't update anything on the portal until actually admitting someone. "We have a policy of not answering application status questions"

Does anyone know how long we have to wait? That's killing me

Second interview request. Anybody know why they do this?

TTPB : Most MS acceptances start coming out in Feb end and March whole month. Including but not limited to UCLA. Gotta wait more. Sone posts of MS already posted are fake. January end is still a little bit practical not Jan mid.

POI contacted for interview

Interview from POI listed in my SoP

TPB: Was this for CS or CS for Scientists and engineers?

TTPB: When did you apply and in what track?

BS in Engineering with 2.5 years working experience as a design engineer.

Where are those USC decision notifications yet? Last time this year they had started already ....

Applied 12/12/2020, Admitted 1/16/2021. Got into the Scientists and Engineers CS program!
