I asked the department and got this diplomatic answer 😔 “The Graduate Admissions Committee began reviewing applications in mid-January. Preliminary offers will be made in mid to late February. Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail with a formal offer letter to follow by regular mail. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by e-mail.”

Has anyone heard anything about when they will be sending acceptance/rejection letters for the MA program in comparative lit? I reached out to the department but have heard nothing back. I saw that PhD applicants got responses in January, so I'm wondering how different the timescale is for MA applicants.

This is my fourth rejection. I applied to six programs. The two I haven't heard from yet are both uber reach schools. Things are looking real grim, friends.
