Email was sent and a package with an adorable hat was sent as well. Feeling very welcomed and not excited to have to choose between so many great options!

The MFA CW program also rewarded me a half-tuition scholarship about a month later!

For fall 2021 The University of Minnesota cut it's accepted applicants down to 6 students because of money constraints. The date of notification was also an estimate.

Excited! #GoBulldogs

This was the earliest result I received. Was my top choice, so a bit sad but I'm going to try again this fall. Nonfiction app. 2a/1w/5r/0p

Nonfiction app, was rewarded partial funding. This was one of my backup schools, but had to turn them down due to job/covid situation. The professor seemed genuinely disheartened and encouraged me to apply again because they were "very impressed." Overall seems like very friendly people in the dept, which makes me want to apply again. 2a/1w/5r/0p

Had to turn them down for my job/due to Covid (applying from overseas) but hope to apply again this fall! Nonfiction app. 2a/1w/5r/0p

Rejected off the waitlist.

Unconditional offer. So excited. No word of funding though.

So I was waitlisted and then today I rechecked the portal, I just happened to click on the decision letter that already showed open, and inside the letter was different. It looks like I got removed from the waitlist but not in a good way. I think the program is full.

Final count: 5a/7r. Not too shabby.

Got an email to check my portal. Small scholarship... still not sure I can afford it though

e-mailed to check status update today. Accepted off waitlist after a month of the waitlist notification. Offered 20k scholarship. I've committed elsewhere.
