"...Congratulations on being accepted into the Cancer Biology PhD Program at Washington University in St. Louis. You are all scientific rock stars and we could not be more excited at the potential of having you on our campus and part of our third class of Cancer Biology students..." I'm ecstatic! The competition was tough! I didn't get accepted into my top choice but this will definitely do...

rejected via email. I have already been accepted to my top choice so this didn't sting too bad. I did think I was a good fit but I know the applicant pool was huge and they only had a handful of spots to fill. 2a/1r/0w/6p

GPA is MA. I thought this was a good fit for my interests, but onwards and upwards I guess. 0a/2r/3p

Received a wonderful email offering a generous fellowship plus a top scholar award. Happy!!! 7a/1r/7p

Unofficial email for admission committee chair. Interviewed Feb 14th.

Accepted into the Language and Rhetoric track with full funding for 5 years plus a $5000+ top scholar award. Feels so rewarding after being so close to the top of the waitlist last year. Good luck to everyone reapplying, and hang in there! Thrilled to be attending.

Applied to the Literature and Culture track. A little bummed but it is understandable since I wasn't the best fit. Read up about Seattle's weather very recently too so this hurts much less. Congratulations to everyone that got in!

Master's GPA listed. Did not submit GRE. Email from graduate director saying they are interested and want to know if I have any other dominating offers. Not an official admission, but it seems like an offer will be coming. 1a/1wl/4r
