Email to check portal update: "We have completed our initial review of applicants to the Health Psychology training program and have extended interview invitations. Our task was unusually difficult because of the very large number of exceptionally well-qualified applicants this year. Our program received almost 100 applications, which represents a significant increase over prior years. The difficulty of selecting candidates for the interview stage was further magnified given the overall excellence of the pool and the limited number of interview slots. We are never able to admit or even interview all the applicants who we believe are qualified and talented. This year, we were able to invite fewer than 10% of applicants for interviews. Due to the high volume of applications, we unfortunately are not able to provide individualized feedback to applicants. Please be assured of our very best wishes and appreciation of your interest in our program."

OMG!!! Whaaat? Definitely my top choice because of the POI. I was notified via email. No interview but I did talk to the POI extensively before applying. Financial aid package to follow.

I did two years of research resulting in 1 publication. 3.85 GPA. Did not submit GRE.

I got in! Systems. I had an interview in late December. So excited!

TTPB: I am also waiting; no news yet. From the history, it looks that the acceptances should start coming in by the end of this month/ 1st week of Feb! Fingers crossed!

Still cannot believe it as another international student in my cohort got the offer from ucla two weeks ago. Thinking I was rejected but still got it. For all those still waiting for offers, please keep in faith!!!
