New Writer's Program...standard rejection email :(

NWP / form rejection

New Writers Project

Phone call from David Leavitt evening of 3/2. I lost my mind! This is my first year applying. The cohort this year is cut in half from the normal 6 Fiction/6 Poetry, and funding is slightly less than they typically are able to give, due to a decrease in departmental funding overall. I will very likely be accepting.

Received same rejection email with mistakes along with a second apology email

Notified via email - email itself still showed unedited content, ie. 'fiction' crossed out and Poetry written out.

ah, well! (0a/2w/3r/6p)

Received a very sweet email saying that they were just unable to place me this year but would like to discuss next year as a possibility. It's honestly a bit of a relief because while the program sounds fantastic it was not actually the best fit for me personally.

Sterile, but pleasant enough rejection. 1a/2w/1r/1p

Halfway through, getting sad.
