Just received the rejection letter at 10:47 pm, interesting timing! I'm a little sad, I worked really hard on a 20-page paper specifically so I'd have a writing sample for this application, since I got my master's degree in something unrelated to literature. Oh, well, I suppose it wasn't meant to be. Congrats to all who were accepted!

Pleasantly surprised. Not my top choice, though, so I'm not holding my breath

Congrats to those who got in! This is one of my top choices. I'm in the "PhD without previous Master's degree" section, and if by any chance anyone has better and more fitting opportunities, it would be great if you could reply to the decision early, as the waiting process is such a torture... Thanks!

Email to check portal.

Received an email to check portal. I won't be accepting, as I have already accepted an offer from my top program. Good luck everyone!

Finally admitted to a PhD program after my second cycle! Emailed to look at portal. I thought it was going to be a rejection because usually offers come from POI or an admissions director, etc. Was emailed on Feb. 22nd at 8:06 AM. Thrilled that I have been admitted but now to work out funding...

I received an email to check the portal. GPA is graduate. So excited!

I already got an offer from different programs, so this did not affect me much. The general process is really slow for this cycle.
