I was rejected to Computer Science program but given a second chance to change major to either another engineering program. I chose Software Engineer as a result. I randomly checked and saw "accepted - classified graduate" as my status. FYI: The GRE scores are 3 years old. I have an MBA degree with 3.96 GPA from CSUEB but I don't think this is matter in their decision making process.

Congratulations to all the lucky people who got into USC. I just wanted to know if any of you guys got into the software engineering track. I just called the school up today and they said that I'd hear back from them in May. I asked for a date and they said that they can't really say by when.... So, I know that the odds are probably not in my favor but if there is a slight chance that I might get in then It'll be freaking AWESOME! So, if any of you guys got in for Software Engineering then please do let me know! Thanks a ton guys and once again Congratulations to all of you!

Is there anyone else who got accepted into the same track or knows someone who did? I know that there are very few colleges out that that give out degrees in Software engineering and this is the only admit I got so far. But I don't wanna jump the gun because this is a big decision. So, if you know anything about how the school is then Please do let me know if this is a good college.. on paper it sounds amazing but there is a piece of me that's screaming 'It's a trap!'. So, please help me out you guys! Thank you so much in advance.

Did any international applicant hear from York university? Is York computer science very difficult to get into for an international student?

To the USC Software Engineering poster below: Congratulations on getting in! It's a great program and I'm really glad you made it! I applied for the same program as well. I have done a few related projects but I don't have any publications... I'm still waiting for a reply from them and my portal says that my decision is still pending. You're probably the 1st admit into this program that I came across on grad cafe. So, could you please elaborate on your profile? I am so happy right now! Regardless of my GRE scores, I was able to get accepted since I had a 3.7+ CS GPA, strong SOP and strong LOR's. This has been my dream school and I hope to matriculate this fall.

Applied to MCS Tempe admitted SE Polytechnic instead.
