Received an email to check application status in the portal. Reason cited in rejection letter was that there were "no available spaces in the program."

To the person asking about this original post- thank you! I unofficially heard about 2 weeks ago from my POI and then received the official university communication with funding details on the 19th. My general research areas are political ecology, agri-food systems, and STS. Not sure if this helps... Hoping there is also good news headed your way.

I'm in a similar situation. I understand that there must be some inconvenience due to the disease, it seems like the delay is doomed. I just wonder why there's no email explaining the whole thing? Seems like I've never successfully submitted the application! Frustrated.

30k merit funding, 1 year. not bad

18k FLAS+15k stipend for 2020-2021, definitely gonna try for more funding (NY is expensive!). overall pleased!
