Guess recommendations were crucial

Call from POI. My second round of application, there is always hope!

I didn't get any notices from the department but got to know that the interview will be done tomorrow! Good luck everyone!

Received an email from POI that I was recommended for admission. I'm a US permanent resident

PoI emailed me to let me know I was not among those selected for admission

Bummer

Utterly speechless. PoI said the rollout of notifications is unlike anywhere else, which is very on-brand. Assume the best, not the worst.

Got a phone call from one of the faculty congratulating me. Had 6 publications, 2 of which were first-author (the professor who called me was a co-author on one of my papers). I had 4 very strong LORs. I also did a ton of teaching and outreach during my undergrad.

Pls ignore the status. Saw 3 posts for PHS acceptance, congratulations! Has anyone other heard from PHS, especially Nutrition track? Contacted the PHS program director, he said still in process and will send out all decision by next Friday (2/10).
