to the poster below who has 7 papers and has been put in waitlist. Hey, buddy, you said you are waitlited via email. Did you attend an interviewed before the "waitlist" email? Or, you were directly put in the waitlist without an interview? Maybe you are overqualified so that the department thinks you won't come even they give you an offer. So they refuse to interview you even if you are so excellent because they think to invterview you is a waste of time.

Please if you're not looking to attend, let them know. NYU is my dream school :(

I was interviewed on March 18th. I got the official letter one week after. Definitely attending!

Rejected by phd but admitted to masters, no funding :/ Will go to another phd program

No authorship on papers but I have 1-yr post-bac experience in a NIH PREP program and have 4 strong LORs from my previous supervisors. Graduated from a small liberal arts school on full scholarship.

E/VG E/VG VG/VG. I got an honorable mention which is nice, but sad I didn't get the award. Congrats to everyone who did!

Officially committed to UCSF BMS! Had better connections with faculty at UCSF instead of Stanford.

The director called to congratulate me. I have accepted my offer at MIT biology and will be declining the Stanford Cancer Biology offer.

TTBP: I am having the same issue from couple of universities. I don't think you know how much hard work it goes to get 7 publications, if you do you would understand how painful it is to get waitlisted. You have no right to comment on my profile.

Waitlisted in February. If you're not planning on going, please update them! Gotta say this is my dream program :(
