Thank you for your application to the Computer Science PhD program. Your application for admission to the Kahlert School of Computing graduate pro- gram at the University of Utah was given thoughtful consideration, and your credentials were carefully reviewed. I regret to inform you that the admissions committee did not recommend you for admission at this time. In addition to the credentials of an applicant, a significant factor in the admissions decisions was the perceived fit in our PhD program, based on feedback from the faculty on the level of interest in taking on the applicant as a PhD advisee. Therefore many highly qualified applicants were not admitted. We thank you for your interest in the Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah, and we wish you success in your future endeavors.
