Had to email to find out about being waitlisted. Told application was strong and they are keeping me in mind, but my research interests are very focused in certain areas are aren't well represented by the program.

Program recruiter called to give the news and said official letter should come next week.

PI who I interviewed with emailed first to let me know of the acceptance. Got official letter a couple days later.

TTPB: No, I have not received a word from the BCN program. However, the POI told me that it is expected within the next week. Fingers crossed!
