I received an email last night from one of the professors saying that I had been admitted (as I apparently already knew? I didn't, so whatever) but I was on the waitlist for funding. I emailed them back saying that I didn't know and that I'd probably go somewhere else anyway, since I was accepted with a scholarship to University of Denver. I received a status update today that they accepted me. Overall, they've been pretty bad about communicating with me. I received even a phishing scam from them, and I emailed the coordinator to ask for a time frame of when I'd hear back and he said the people in charge of enrollment would let me know, and it took them around 3 days to tell me I had been admitted but was waitlisted for funding. All in all, I feel fine because I'm going to DU anyway so whatever lol

About a month ago received an invite for a visit day, today got an official acceptance (email to check the status update on the portal).

1 conference publication to CHI, applied for ML/AI/Social Computing fields

335 GRE, 116 TOEFL, one research paper in an international conference, a best presentation award at a national conference, three research experiences, three industry internships, 9.5/10 GPA in CS from a decent university in India. I don't understand what else to do.

Bad decision to mark it as one of my safe universities. Reject letter said that I may have missed out due to lack of classes in their prerequisite courses.
