NOT WAITLIST Possible acceptance: So I didn't receive an acceptance letter that I could find, but in my spam folder, I found both the greetings letter as well as a financial offer, so I'm pretty sure that would indicate an acceptance. My "my status" portal also says "in review" still. I will post an accepted entry if I do confirm my admission, so don't count this as one. I am CME and I attended the open house and spoke with one professor one on one

TTPB: Congratulations to those who got accepted! Can you tell us if your status on the MyStatus portal got updated? Or does it still shows as "in review"? This might help us understand if we got rejected or should still wait for the follow-up email.

I went to the open house and received the infamous email but haven't heard anything. Anyone else have news? I'm in NR.

Recieved financial aid letter 4 hours after the general email. Attached was the offer. Good luck to everyone!!!

Acceptance 3 hours after original email from Rafael. Letter includes financial aid info. No pubs, ultra-high GPA, attended open house. hep-th, 2.5 years research, unsure if I will accept.

TTPB: Thanks! Yes, I received the greetings email from Rafael earlier this afternoon. Got the offer about two hours after that.

Received follow up email with offer letter.

Received an email and Mystatus page was updated. Generic rejection email

(TTPB) It's not a reply. No contact with them b/f this email.

Now I feel receiving that email is not bad because it literally means that you are at least on the waitlist: they underline the words "have not." However, I believe I can only be on the waitlist at this moment. I contacted a professor twice but failed. No interview. No pub. Recommenders don't have strong connections with people @ Austin :( Good luck to everyone!

Also got this email. Haven't received any follow up. Kinda strange as I was told by a professor I was talking to that I had been accepted and would receive an offer soon. Kinda disappointed now.

ignore waitlisted I don't think that is the follow-up email. I also received that one around an hour ago. One of my friends didn't receive that as well. I don't know whether receiving it is good or not.
