Thank you for your application to the Management Doctoral Program of the Stern School of Business. The admission committee has completed its review of your application, and we regret that we are unable to offer you admission. If you indicated a second-choice major, we considered you for that area as well and our decision also applies to that area. We appreciate your interest in our program and wish you much success in the future. I'm glad they didn't sugarcoat to fill up a page with meaningless statements about how they care about you and your career. Cause truth is, they don't. This is straight to the point, nothing presumptuous about it!

literally the saddest, most presumptuous two-liner rejection letter I've seen thus far. I also wish them success in their future career of trying to reach Columbia in any standard :)

Was notified via email that there was an update in my NYU online application. I was notified that I was rejected from the PhD program.

GPA is MA

1 REU, 3 semesters research on campus, no publications
