TTPB: Sounds like UCSD is rather inconsiderate. I mean, if you have to be competing against the new batch of applicants then it is NOT a deferral, but rather a reapplication. Anyways I am losing my hope for this program already. I can't think of any reason why they would admit any new candidates at this point of time. | ||||

I am still waiting for my admissions results. I emailed the CSE department at UCSD; they said admissions results will be finalized by mid April. I deferred my admission from last year and am being reconsidered for admission with this year's applicant pool. | ||||
