If you have gotten a better phd in Chemical Engineering offer elsewhere...pls, reject that of vanderbilt, columbia, nmsu, northeastern, purdue, and case western reserve. Pls, so that someone like me can get a chance. I have 15 rejections already with no admissions.

Ignore waitlist. TTPB: How do you know that one-third of all applicants were rejected? I saw a couple of admits on /r/gradadmissions but I don't see rejects. I haven't heard back from UBC yet.

For those who don't know and future applicant searching: on Friday, April 14th, around 10 am Vancouver time, there was a mass rejection (according to polls, around 1/3 of applicants were rejected). A few have also mentioned admits on Reddit.

Ignore waitlist. Any news from UBC Vancouver CS department? Haven't seen a single admit so far. Why are they awfully late this time? Last yeat they sent offers around mid Feb, already August now. If anyone inquired the department please let me know.

Any updates from the MS&E or other IEOR programs?

Masters 3.85

biological track. Please decline the offer as soon as possible if you decide not to accept it. Much appreciated.

International student, got rejected from the MEng Civil Engineering program at UBC Vancouver. Disappointing. All the best to those that got in!

International Student. Finally got an update from UBCV. Wishing best of luck to those who are in waitlist.

Did not hear from them, reached out to the department chair who let me know that all of their admission offers have been made. Application portal still says it is with the faculty commitee.
