Not quite sure how I got this because I didn't even complete the application after deciding I didn't want to go here. I guess the feeling was mutual.

Had to check the website, didnt even get an email.

I've seen a few acceptances posted here but my status still says "no decision". Is that a bad news? I sent an email to assistant program director and her response was "You should be able to check your status and view the decision soon... " How soon? Waiting hurts !!

To the poster below asking for my background: BSc in Mathematics from relatively unknown European university. MSc in CS from top-ranked university in continental Europe. No interview with POIs. Specific interests are Crypto/Coding and Information Theory/Complexity.

Field: Theory

Faculty interviewed me. Math and Physics major; 2 years of physics research, 1 year of CS research. Decent GRE and very lucky! Artificial Intelligence, Crowd Simulation, Digital Storytelling. Offered TA for two years under advisor that interviewed me

To someone asked below, I had Skype with an Astro professor there and he told me I was admitted in advance. Official email on admission is sent early this week. Full fellowship without TA responsibility, 3 paper as 2nd or 3rd author. But also got an offer from JHU so I may reject it after school visit. Open house on 24th
