Applied for Neuroscience and received an invite to interview for Biomedical Sciences. Like other posters below, I am not sure if this means my application was sent to GSBS or if I am still in consideration for the Neuroscience program.

Scripps definitely hasn't sent out all invites yet - deadline to respond to the official interview weekend is Jan 18 however so they may be about done. I've been in contact with 2 profs, one on the admissions committee during the process (2 middle author pubs, 3 yr undergrad research)

Initially got rejection letter but then they sent me an email saying they made a mistake and wanted to interview. Strangest thing ever :)

received an email from PI of interest to provide additional information about my interest in their lab and current research

~5 years of academic and industry lab experience, no pubs.

Received email directly from NUIN about the rejection. Will be waiting to hear from the Graduate School about the official rejection.

For the UCLA post was it a mass email or individual ?

Interview weekends are Jan 28-29th or Feb 8-9th. Unfortunately I might have to decline as I already interviews on those dates :( Good luck everyone!

People who received Neuroscience interview invitations: CONGRATS! Also, did your email say the interview was for the PhD Program in Neuroscience or Biomedical Sciences? I applied Neuro but my email says I have an interview for PIBS and I am wondering if anyone else had this experience.
