Hey! To the CUNY poster below -- I had two interviews (Linguistic track) on the 14th, one with POI and then a grad student. They seemed really interested, but I really haven't heard anything back. I emailed my POI and they said that CUNY would start sending out admissions decisions starting the first week February, but that's all I've heard. Based on historical digging on CUNY via grad cafe, it seems like acceptances and rejections are sporadic up until late spring?

ttpb: Nope, absolutely nothing since I applied. Do they interview normally? It feels late to have heard zero so far...

The person who would be my advisor reached out to schedule a call. No full funding for anyone. They recommended me for partial funding but I still might have to refuse. 1a/1r/3p.

For those of you who have been referred to mapss but not interested it, would you mind sending emails to the admissions office and decline this offer? That would help people including me who do want to go to the program. Thank you all!!

referred to MAPSS but I already have an MA so I truly cannot be bothered to do another one if admitted especially since I did a master's dissertation already with my program. Anyone else w/ an MA also get referred to MAPSS?
