Got accepted for American Politics a couple of weeks ago (along with some other people I know). Saw someone in forums say only CP/IR/PT was out for Berkeley, it's not true.

MRes/PhD economics, expected as I only have a Bachelor's

CP Subfield, actually received the news from my target advisor last week and officially got notified today. Would appreciate a lot for those who got accepted by Duke but do not plan to matriculate to notify the department sooner rather than later.

Checked portal, MRES/PhD Economics program

GPA is grad. No email notification. I randomly checked the portal and saw a decision available—no word on funding.

Interviewed by POI in Jan. Checked portal today, no email. 5a/2r/10p. Stipend was very low, and no funding guaranteed…

No email-checked status portal page

BA from US top 10 , after all not a great fit. CP subfield. Congrats to my bf who has gotten in.

IR subfield :)

Canadian Citizen. Received an email that the Admissions Committee has accepted my application and that the offer letter will be posted on the portal within a week. Subfield: Canadian Politics and Public Policy. I hold a MPA degree (4.1/4.3 GPA) and have short articles (non-peer reviewed) published. Strong reference letters as well.

No GRE. First acceptance!

Email from Grad School. IR subfield.

Political Theory Subfield. I am super excited and appreciative, as I am a transfer student who has studied in the States (and majored in political science) for less than two years.

Email to check portal :(

5 publications and strong LORs. Unf, it wasn't not good fit. Recommendation: always check for alignment.
