The interview lasted about an hour and was conducted via Zoom. I presented my past work, research style and why I wanted to do a PhD.

Those with better offers, please withdraw/reject ASAP!!

Unofficial offer

This is a MA+MFA combined degree. A nice letter that seemed personal, but I know from these posts it was a form. "We felt that you deserved a word directly from the department." etc

Very kind form rejection from Nathan Mead. This one was a bummer to get. Congratulations to the folks who got in!

not too pressed since i decided to go the english phd route instead :) 2a/1r/5p

They said there would be an interview. Did anyone received invitation? And when?

AMO experiment. Informal email from POI. Met with him online before application. No official interview.

3 Abstracts, 3 presentations, 1 national level award for the undergraduate research project, 1 co-authored publication (in peer review), 3 years of volunteer research experience, 6 months TA experience.

I received an email to check the status and got accepted today! Funding information was included in the decision letter, and I am happy to be offered full funding for five years. I didn't have an interview, and I am currently pursuing a research-oriented master's degree in the US.
