US History. No GRE, not required this year. Very excited, what a time to be a U.S. historian.

Not surprised by their decision. The department faculty didn't match with my research interest but applied to give it a shot. Good luck to everyone!

Checked the website mid-day and got my formal rejection. Never got an e-mail stating to checking the website. I'm not particularly surprised, nor hurt. It's not my first choice school, either. Good luck to everyone!

TTPB: Congratulations on being admitted to the Strategy Ph.D. program at UCLA. Do you know how many offers are being made this year? And do you know if they have rolled out all of their offers? If you don't mind sharing, who interviewed you? Thanks!

Checked website, not surprised

I checked my application status online and saw that a rejection letter from the university had been made available.

Informal acceptance from program so far. Official notification to come shortly.

No interviews. Email from graduate advisor with faculty advisors cc'd.

US-history focus. I'd had great communication with several members of the faculty so slightly surprised, but it's tough this year.

Email on behalf of the department chair

Unofficial email. Excited!!

TTPB: Big Cong! Do you mind sharing your likelihood of taking the offer? Thanks a lot!

Sorry folks. Made a typo in my previous post. My degree is from the USA.

Unofficial offer. Admit day next week. Super excited!!

got an email from the department and then two POI. no interview

My TOEFL status is 'awaiting' too. I received a mail on Jan 7th saying that the process of matching scores to app profiles is taking longer due to the pandemic and that they will start reviewing applications with unofficial scores.
