no interview, no connection, expected.

Will mostly be letting go of UC Berkeley and Cornell, for those on the waiting list. Thrilled!! If anyone knows how the work environment at Stanford is, please comment and inform if there are any red flags!

only school that's accepted me and i'm not mad

email to check status and standard rejection. decent gpa and 7 papers in jmlr or top ai conferences but the professor with similar interests does not take students this year (from another prof). Try to contact poi for their plans before your application!!! congrats for the guys who got the offer!

Emailed to check online portal

Can't say it was unexpected, but no harm in taking a shot. My first reject - and really hoping I get something! Fingers crossed. Profile: Decent GPAs, 8 International journal papers, 7 conference papers, currently doing my Master's with thesis at UT Austin. Worked after my Bachelor's for a year. Decent internships and LoRs. Good luck to all who are anticipating their results!

SDC Masters, got an email at 9:30 EST that the portal was updated

GPA is from graduate school. Four years of research and ethnographic field school experience. Multiple publications. Didn't feel like Stanford was quite the right fit for me so all good on the rejection. Good luck to everyone else and try to remember that P.h.D. program rejections can still lead to great opportunities in life if you follow whatever you're passionate about.

Undergraduate at Top 5 Engineering School, Multiple internships in industry, 3 years of research experience, and 2 years of TAing. Got email about status update which I expected to be rejection and it was :\

The email mentioned a status update on the portal. *pinching myself* California... here I come!

Was just checking the portal and it didn't show my application checklist. I knew the rejection is coming. After one refresh, the decision letter came. I get to know the result even before my email does, lol.

no interview no surprise

No email. Just checked the portal.
