TTPB: I received a reply from the department saying they don’t have any time frame for sending decisions. Many of my friends got admits in the Feb month itself. I think it depends on the specialisation. What specialisation did you and your friend apply for?

Has anybody got any updates?? One of my friends got an offer in the first week of March. When will they roll out the remaining offers?

Had the interview today

Waitlisted pending additional aid. I was accepted off the waitlist 3/26. The DGS and I communicated via email throughout March and I was finally offered a fellowship which includes 5 years of funding.

TTPB: I have not heard from the department yet. But most likely it will end up as a reject looking at the trends of other Universities. Fall'19 is over for me since I could not convert any of my applications successfully. I am quite frustrated. Will try again but definitely not USA.

I have asked Purdue University when I will get admission. They replied "We have made all PhD offers for fall 2019. If you haven’t received a decision, we may be considering you for our Professional MS Program." It seems that we might not get phd admission.

Admitted with unofficial offer for funding, provided I convert to PhD post enrolment. Haven't heard back with confirmation yet (as of 27th March)

I got the offer for the Professional Masters Program of 1 year duration. Is it worth it for someone aiming to work in the industry?

Was NOT expecting this, especially since I got rejected from several programs that are ranked less than Purdue.

Has anyone received final decision after having the letter telling that there is a delay in reviewing your application and interview? I have sent E-mail to ask about the status but have not yet received any response. BTW, I am applying for molecular signaling and cancer biology training group.

Few of my friends with stellar profiles have received PhD admits early in Feb. I guess we will hear once the guys with admits make their decisions.

I sent an email today to ask about my admission status and they replied me that the application is competitive so I think I get rejected which make sense because it's already 26 March without any offer letter

TPB: Area of interest - Robotics. Any chance of getting admit at this point of time?

TTPB: I think they don’t have any deadline. Even I received the exact same email. But most of the PhD offers they have already made.. Probably waitlisted or rejected.. Your area of interest?

Mailed them to inquire about the application status. Got the reply as " Admission decisions will be sent out through e-mail. Also, if you are admitted and to receive funding, that offer will come via e-mail also. Unfortunately, we have no time frame on when you will receive an admissions decision." NO TIME FRAME what does it mean?

TPB: I don't know what does it mean for MSU and Purdue. But for Cornell AEM, this could mean implicit rejection. The thing is, they only made 9 offers and formalized their WL. They haven't sent their second round offer yet, their WL people are also waiting.

I feel so sad.
