Received an email from POI that I was recommended for admission. I'm a US permanent resident

1 submitted paper as co-author. 1 year of undergraduate research in europe + 0.5 years research at harvard as visiting scholar. my gpa is from top european school (not representative).

Informed I was waitlisted. Come on someone turn down Harvard, please!

PoI emailed me to let me know I was not among those selected for admission

Utterly speechless. PoI said the rollout of notifications is unlike anywhere else, which is very on-brand. Assume the best, not the worst.

Got a phone call from one of the faculty congratulating me. Had 6 publications, 2 of which were first-author (the professor who called me was a co-author on one of my papers). I had 4 very strong LORs. I also did a ton of teaching and outreach during my undergrad.

Pls ignore the status. Saw 3 posts for PHS acceptance, congratulations! Has anyone other heard from PHS, especially Nutrition track? Contacted the PHS program director, he said still in process and will send out all decision by next Friday (2/10).

Received emails from POI today notifying me that I have been recommended for admission. The decision is not final until and unless GSAS approves it. Also received an email last Wednesday from the chair of the admission committee at Harvard.
