Didn't get an official rejection but saw all the accepts on the forum. Super bumped. I have 2 papers at Tier A NLP conferences (EMNLP, ACL), LORs from senior researchers in the fields, but still, I have got 3/3 rejections. Others being CMU and UIUC.

International applicant from India. Cannot believe it. Whaaaat? Oh my god!

Top IIT CS, research + pub, Systems

Top private university from India, some research experience, and publications. Field: ML/AI

NOT WL: TTPB: Was it on the portal? or email with the decision information?

No research/publication experiences, but very strong recommendation letters and lots of TA experience. 1 internship experience, moderate SOP

non-cs undergrad from top 10 US university! Lots of thinking to do between this and other programs!

Notified by email that I was "a top choice" for an offer, but simultaneously asked if I was still interested in their program. Indicated I would most-likely attend if accepted, and received the acceptance less than an hour thereafter. Currently my top choice, though I have still heard nothing from San Diego or Santa Barbara. They would be good to hear from so I can make a decision.

[Not WL] My status has changed to "forwarded to graduate committee for review" instead of "in review." Wonder if that means a decision soon, but heard nothing.

(NOT WL) TPB, also radio-silence. I'm personally becoming annoyed, as it is late in the season and I've held off on my one other offer because of them. I would like to think it is an implicit WL, but am dreading the seemingly inevitable cold-rejection in the next week or two.

Honestly, I after seeing the other acceptances, I expected a rejection, so I'm really excited. Good luck everyone and congrats on the acceptances :) (I also found my decision in the spam folder, so make sure to check)

Did not expect to even be considered so I'm actually really excited about this :)
