To the posters below, did you interview with UVA in Feb? If you did then they might be sending out waves of decisions and maybe waiting to see how many initial acceptances of offers they get. But I do not think that they accept students without an interview.

Accepted to 15-month program. Out of field applicant with BA in Education. 3.9 CSD GPA. low GRE scores. Thought I had a good chance at this school! So happy I got accepted. Trilingual, RBT/ABA for 5+ years, research in biology, various volunteer experiences for 6+ years with different populations

MedSLP program. This was my reach school and I can't believe I got in! 3.4 linguistics GPA, 4.0 CSD post bacc GPA. 3 years working as a school paraprofessional, 1 year teaching English in Japan, 6 months as a SLPA. Will likely attend!

Obviously this was a reach but I got into my top choice and my future wallet will thank me later.

A little surprised that I wasn't at least waitlisted since I have a lot of relevant experience, but also not upset since it was a reach school for me, and I already got into my top choice.

3.5 GPA, out of fielder, strong LORs from 2 professors, and one current SLP who knows me well. Many years of experience with I/DD population/ currently working in ABA. Interested in language literacy/bilingual practice/social justice, and highlighted this in my letter. There's hope even if you're an average student academically but extraordinary your life experiences and goals.

Phew! What a relief. First acceptance letter while crying over two waitlists and one rejection notice earlier in the day. I'm very excited for this opportunity. Congrats to all who have been accepted!
