Generic email to check the portal.

PL theory: SMT solvers, program synthesis, RL I had 3 video interviews with potential advisor & co-advisor. Received an email by the potential advisor about the decision of admission.

Mainly interested in robotics. MITACS Research Intern, 1 RA position in a lab in my country, 1 paper nearing submission. They've transferred my application for Master's Consideration.

Interviewed by the three-person admissions committee in mid-January, then had a phone interview with a potential advisor the week after. Acceptance came via an email from the portal followed by an email from program administrator and Director of Graduate Studies.

So I'm assuming acceptance. I was invited to visit the department for an open house in March "as part of an initial cohort". There was not an explicit offer of admission and that leads me to question my admission status. Similarly, there was no mention of an interview or waitlist, and I know I'm not denied outright. They're offering to pay for me to come to Boston, so that means something, right? Please lmk if you think otherwise and why. Also, UG major: Chemistry BA, Lab Exp: +5 years, Research exp: 2 years, 1 paper in the writing stage

Email to check portal. Standard rejection email. Applied for the JD/PhD program.

:') applied for cog psych; rejection letter was from the molecular sciences professor--is this normal?

No gre. Referred by my undergraduate professor.

Just goes to prove that a 4.0 GPA+publications from an elite university doesn't have anything to do with acceptances! On to the next :)

Came a day late for no particular reason. Just a plaintext email. Now continuing the wait for any good news. Oh well! 0a/2r/6p

They told me I am a "top candidate for admission" and invited me to Boston for a Pre-Admissions Event.

Received a nice form email. Onwards and updwards!! 0a/0w/2r/17p

Invited to a pre-admissions event in February as a "top prospective applicant".

not invited for an interview
