Interview set for February over Zoom.

Received an interview today to set up a 1-on-1 interview over Zoom with a professor in the Plant Biology department.

Notification of interview invitation from current student, dates and further information will be sent at a later date from admissions coordinator.

Invitation to interview weekend of February 11th virtually.

Didn't submit GRE; Dec 13th was invited to interview (happening Feb 11/12), then Dec 15th the program co-director called to follow up.

Deadline for Project was December 3rd. My graduate GPA was 3.7

Heartbroken. Dream school and looks like I got a rejection very early on. I submitted app close to deadline. No GRE. 3 internships (2 REU's at UIUC and NYU), 2 years independent research, 4 years industry experience that was done throughout college. I come from a small state school. You live and you learn... hopefully it was for reasons I can help. "Thank you very much for applying to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University. I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission. As you know, the very high number of extraordinary candidates far exceeds the number of places we have in each program, and we are not able to admit many excellent candidates."

I did not submit a GRE score. I have extensive research experience before, during, and after my undergraduate degree. I attended a state school and had a strong academic record.
