Waited for a long time for a response, but it was worth it! Thrilled. Still waiting to hear back from another school. Not outstanding GPA, above average GREs, and I took an intro level class this past semester as a not-for-credit student, and got a rec from that professor.

Didn't receive email. Checked the website.

I got an email letting me know that I should check the website. Reassured by the fact that they said 9,000 applicants applied to their MA and PhD program, tough odds, Has anyone applied to University of Miami Community Wellbeing program please pm me username lrbrade

Accepted after being put on waitlist last week. On waitlist for funding.

This is really strange. I am one of the people below who posted rejection, but I woke up to an acceptance letter this morning. Very strange to be rejected and then accepted a week later. The letter did not address my name. It says Dear Prospective Student Wailisted for funding. Psssh

To the post below: 9000 is the number for it's entire College of Arts and Science, not just econ department.

Rejection letter: "We had over 9000 applicants this year." I guess I should be upset, but I just keep wondering how Vegeta would react.
